GroPro - Groundwater Protection: Plans and Implementation in a North European Perspective

Groundwater is a major source of drinking water in many Northern European countries. Protection of groundwater is an important issue for water suppliers, authorities theand for stakeholders involved. Up to now, the legislation and the possibilities for groundwater protection have been very diverse in different countries.
Date of submission of abstracts for oral presentation was 25 February. Deadline for abstracts for poster presentation is 15 March. Please register as User and proceed with abstract submission when you receive your password. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified to submit a 5-page manuscript to be included in the conference proceedings. The COWIfoundation covers stay and travel for authors selected for oral presentation.
Summary:
The conference will focus on the practical development and implementation of groundwater protection plans, on the involvement and cooperation with stakeholders, and the need for new knowledge and tools. The focus area of the conference will be Northern Europe, given the similarities in hydrogeology, land use and climate.
